I always return to the inn for my business trips. The staff helped me print important documents on my first stay, making a great first impression. The inn suits me perfectly, with Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, a shared kitchen, and air conditioning.

The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The bathrooms were in good condition and the overall cleanliness of the hostel was impressive. the location was a big plus. It was within walking distance of parks and busy shopping centers, and the JR station was just a short 5-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the rest of the city.

The hostel lacked a communal vibe and the shared spaces felt cramped. It was not the best place for socializing or meeting new people, especially for young solo travelers.

The air conditioning was always ideal, providing a comfortable stay even in winter. The bed was comfortable and clean. The self-checking system was convenient, and there was an onsite staff available. The provided amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were appreciated. Additionally, there were kitchen facilities, a refrigerator, and utensils available, which were useful. I had a nice and comfortable stay at Base Inn Uguisudani.

The WiFi did not work in one of the beds , but the manager promptly moved me to another bed. There were no cooking facilities, so eating out or getting microwave meals was necessary.

We had a great stay at Base Inn Uguisudani! the owner and onsite staff were friendly and helpful. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. the facilities, including the bathroom, were in good condition. We appreciated the provided amenities like shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. the location was convenient, with Ueno Park and Zoo just a short walk away. There were also plenty of places to eat and convenience stores nearby. We also found a great deal on a Data Sim Card in a camera shop near Ueno Station. Cons: Nothing, all great! 👍.

The secure key code entry system and onsite staff provided a sense of safety. The shower had excellent pressure and temperature. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom area was compact but cozy. The hostel also provided amenities like an iron, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. There were also shared facilities like a fridge, microwave, and kettle available for guests to use. Additionally, the proximity to Ueno Park and Zoo was a big plus, with plenty of attractions and eateries nearby.

The rooms at Base Inn Uguisudani were amazing! I loved how they had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the hot Tokyo summer. It made our stay so much more comfortable and we could escape the sweltering heat whenever we needed to. Plus, the bed linen provided was clean and cozy, giving us the perfect night's sleep.

Personally, I found the Taito district to be a bit crowded. But hey, that's just me!

base inn uguisudani was a great find in tokyo. it offered all the amenities we needed and the rooms were comfortable. the location was ideal as it was close to public transport and within walking distance to ueno park. overall, it exceeded our expectations and made our staycation enjoyable.
